Gentle Yoga
A softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. This class incorporates all aspects of who we are energetically and physically through:
- Different breathing techniques
- Intention setting
- Carefully orchestrated movements
- Well-measured full body stretches
We also incorporate some “Yin” style asanas (poses). Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice that works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body – connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia energy networks – rather than the muscles.
Benefits: Yin yoga improves energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. It also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits.
